Cucamonga Service Station Offers Free Route 66 Centennial Coin to First 50 Poker Run or Pancake Breakfast Sign-Ups
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – September 2nd., 2026 – The Cucamonga Service Station is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Route 66 with a special Labor Day Weekend promotion designed to encourage participation in the upcoming Route 66 Centennial Poker Run and Pancake Breakfast on Friday, September 18.
The first 50 people who sign up for either the Poker Run or Pancake Breakfast during Labor Day Weekend, September 4–7, will receive a FREE exclusive Route 66 Centennial Commemorative Coin, valued at $24.95.
The special offer is valid for registrations made during Labor Day Weekend only and is available while supplies last.
The commemorative coin was created for the Route 66 Centennial and features the historic Cucamonga Service Station on one side and a Route 66 Centennial design on the reverse.
“We wanted to do something special that celebrates the Route 66 Centennial while encouraging people to participate in the Poker Run and Pancake Breakfast,” said Keith Hunt, Board Member of the Cucamonga Service Station. “The coin gives the first 50 people who sign up over Labor Day Weekend an additional piece of Route 66 history to take home with them.”
Route 66 Poker Run
The Route 66 Poker Run will take place Friday, September 18, from 9 a.m. to noon along and near historic Route 66—Foothill Boulevard—in Rancho Cucamonga.
Participants will visit five designated stops, drawing a playing card at each location to build their poker hand. The historic Cucamonga Service Station at 9670 Foothill Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga, is one of the five official Poker Run stops.
Participation is $25 per scorecard packet, and tickets must be purchased in advance. The Poker Run operates as a 50/50 fundraiser, with 50% of the pot going to the winning hand and 50% supporting the nonprofit effort associated with rebuilding “The Garage” at the Cucamonga Service Station.
Pancake Breakfast
The morning will begin with a Pancake Breakfast from 7–10 a.m. at the Rancho Cucamonga Sports Center, 8303 Rochester Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730.
Hosted by the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department, the breakfast will also provide space for classic cars to gather and show and shine. Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance. Proceeds will help support the effort to rebuild “The Garage” at the historic Cucamonga Service Station.
“The Poker Run and Pancake Breakfast bring together so many things that are part of the Route 66 story—classic cars, the open road, local history and community,” Hunt said. “We hope the Centennial coin gives people one more reason to sign up and be part of what should be a very special morning.”

The September 18 activities lead into the 13th Annual Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion, taking place September 18–19 in Ontario, California. The 2026 event coincides with the 100th anniversary of Route 66 and is expected to feature more than 1,000 classic vehicles along historic Euclid Avenue.
